Wool micro-dot full skirt

This wool skirt represents the essence of structured tailoring: a garment that combines the warmth of the raw material with an architectural and modern silhouette.

Full mid-calf length skirt, fully lined.

A circular tailored cut creates a natural and striking volume, the waist is emphasized by an asymmetrical maxi belt in scarlet red, which breaks the rigidity of the grey and becomes the focal point of the entire outfit. (can also be worn without a belt).

My mission is to hide complexity; when you look at the skirt you see a pure shape and a vibrant color; you don't see the hours spent balancing the weight of the wool with the lightness of the lining, but when you wear it, that complexity turns into confidence. This is the true magic of tailoring.

Materials: deadstock wool/polyester fabric with velvet micro-dot pattern, polyester lining. Red faux leather belt with metal buckle.

Technique used: bias cut and waist stabilization. The skirt is cut following the bias of the fabric to ensure that the wool "drapes" fluidly instead of remaining stiff; this method requires much more fabric (and therefore greater value), but ensures that the volume is evenly distributed around the entire circumference.
The lining is sewn inside the fabric, completely concealing all assembly seams.
Hand-tacked stay stitches (bridges). Small thread "bridges" are made to connect the lining to the side seams of the wool. This prevents the lining from twisting or riding up while walking, maintaining constant thermal and tactile comfort.
