Large format vase, entirely handmade with wild oat impressions.
Nature is the cradle of the ACQUAlab project and is one of the cornerstones of the life I have chosen. I live in an uncontaminated landscape area, and since 2020, my days have been marked by hands kneading clay, forests, and wild foraging.
I decided to live in the midst of nature in my daily life, and I try to apply this choice in as many areas as possible, such as in critical and sustainable consumption.
All the pieces I create are unrepeatable; I don't work with molds, and each object is unique. The rhythm of the seasons cyclically dictates all my productions. My works tell stories of seasonal wild blooms.
In botanical ceramics, we can recognize spring or autumn, summer, and winter.
Materials used: ceramic.
Technique: all pieces are unique, made from ceramic mixtures that I manually roll out and work. I carefully select the botanicals that I then imprint on the clay. After controlled drying, the piece is fired for the first time at 1180 degrees. Subsequently, I hand-paint the entire piece, glaze it, and at this point, the second firing can be carried out.
Dimensions: diameter 15 cm; height 45 cm.
Unique piece.
